Fall 2026 Tryouts
BSYSA Tryouts are open to all players regardless of club affiliation. Tryouts will be held April 23rd from 6-7:30 at Big Spring High School. We will be running one session for each age group. Emails will be sent to all registrants with reminders and more details about tryouts.
Player selection will be based on a combination of tryout results and coach recommendations. Accepted players will receive notifications as soon as possible after the conclusion of tryouts. Players who receive an invitation to join a team will be provided a deadline to accept the invitation.
We are excited to welcome young athletes aged 19 and under to showcase their skills and passion for soccer. This is a great opportunity to become part of our vibrant community and develop your game with dedicated coaches.

In the interest of equitable assessments, it is important that our evaluators are able to compare players to their peers during their evaluation. If extenuating circumstances exist, notify us right away. We will contact you to set up a different evaluation date and time. coachingbsysa@gmail.com
Financial Assistance
BSYSA believes everyone should have the opportunity to participate. If cost is a concern, please reach out to us—we’re happy to work with families on a confidential basis.

Assessments
Players will be assessed on a number of different skills and qualities. Players selected to join a team will be invited to participate in team summer workouts and the Fall 2026 CPYSL Season.
Day of Tryouts
Arrive at the designated check-in time. Parents / guardians must register the player prior to the tryout session. Players will be assigned a unique tryout penny and number.
Pricing
Registration Fees and Uniform Fees will be collected once you accept a roster spot on a competitive team. There will be a payment plan option. The fees are below.
Tryout Fee: $25 (Will be refunded if your child doesn't make a team)
Fall Registration Fee: $200
Uniform $120: (Home and away uniform with socks).
*This is required for all new travel players.

Big Spring Rumble
BSYSA is excited to announce that we will be hosting our very own local soccer tournament in May 2026! This event will bring together teams from across the area for a weekend of friendly competition, community spirit and a shared love for the game.
Players of all ages will have the chance to showcase their skills, while families and fans enjoy a fun-filled atmosphere with great soccer, food, and activities. Mark your calendars—this will be a hometown soccer celebration you won’t want to miss!
